Beautiful to behold
I absolutely love Slipknot and hope they will bring their show our way again! The rest of the band certainly upped their energy levels and played with abandon, bringing us all an incredible feeling of joy! There's something holy and sacred about standing in the crowd, our chins raised in defiance, shouting our allegiance to the band whose music quite frequently makes my world go round! I can only compare Jessie Ware's set to their show last year at the same venue and I'll say I certainly enjoyed their frenetic energy as much, but it was tough to watch Corey and not cringe every time he jumped or flicked his head from side to side. His voice was incredibly strong and powerful, but I personally worried for him with every move. I want to enjoy his performances with whatever incarnation for as long as possible. The show literally closed out my summer as I'm back to work now as a teacher and the boys did not disappoint!
Marilyn Manson had moments of brilliance, but there was something off about his performance. I miss the eloquent, daring man who challenged society to rethink their small minded values.
Of Mice and Men were an added treat. They certainly brought a fresh energy and showed their metal roots.
Concord's staff was PHENOMENALLY friendly and went out of their way to take care of us and make our night superb!
